The integration in the twitter app called HootSuite into ping.fm looks like it could solve alot of troubles with finding ways of distributing updates through twitter.
I especially like the intelligent update features that differentiate between the messages that hootsuite sends to twitter and the ones it imports from a specific RSS feed.
